Trying to run my wires internally on my SG, having trouble running the tbw and the right side wires together. I got the everything, but the tbw thru, but the green plugs keep hanging up. About ready to cut and soder everything, seems to be the only way they all will fit, anyone have any other suggestions, thanks
Do a search on here, there is one of these threads everyday. Everything I have seen says to run the TBW first then the others. I attempted to do it on my SG with my PYO bagger bars but took it to my local indy. $100 bucks ($75 & a $25 dollar tip for doing it same day) and I was out in 1.5 hours. I still have all my hair, all the whiskey that was in the freezer and my wife still talks to me.......well worth it to me.
I soldered my tbw wires, ran them through first, then ran the other bundled right side wires through. Use lots of grease and its more push than pull. Maybe try taping that plug and applying alot of grease to is.
Personally, Id start right side over and run tbw first.

Have tried to run it first, that f__king green plug keeps hanging up, but my liquor bill has risen a lot since I started this mess!

Anthony, did you cut the directly off the end of the silver tbw grip sensor, that's the only one that scares me, since the wires out it are 6 wires and 3 colors then the plug goes to 6 different color wires
Yep, cut and solder is how i did mine. As Anthony said its more push than pull. I almost forgot how much fun it was! lol! Good luck.
Did you have to cut the plug directly off the Harley tbw grip sensor, this is the only part that bugs me going from 3 different color wires to 6, think they should send a guy a free bottle with every set of bars!
