Default Thunder Monsters on my RK

I own a 2005 RKC with the Stage I and HD Race Tuner with V&H Dresser Duals and V&H Slip ons. I had the Screamin Eagle slip ons but I wasn't really that happy with the sound. The V&H Classics are a little too mild but do have a nice deep sound. The baffles are removeable and when they are out the bike is louder but it loses its tone. I am hoping the Thunder Monsters I ordered arrive tomorrow so I can get them in before the weekend. Does anyone else have them in their bike with 3 or 4 inch slip ons? How do they sound with the TM's and did the performance change for you? I see a lot of people talking about the TM's in V&H products but I don't see much discussion for slip on applications. The TM's will go into my header pipes prior to the muffler as the guys from Big City explained. They were very helpful and spent a lot of time with me on the telephone. If their product is as good as their initial help, I should be happy. Any experience you might have would be cool. Thanks.

Default RE: Thunder Monsters on my RK

I have the Thunder Monsters in my SE II mufflers and I really like 'em. Definite seat-of-the-pants difference. Probably one of the cheapest and best values regarding a performance increase. Since you take the stock baffles out, your slip on mufflers will act as sound chambers. I really like the way my SE II mufflers sound with the Thunder Monsters.[8D]
