Default SG forks - going black

Took after the guys with black forks. Got some powder coated jobs on ebay for only 150 bucks. That was the sliders and cow bells. I did alot of research on how to do this, got kinda scared but finally got up the nerve and just did it this morning while my father in law hung out with me. It's raining and all so the pictures aren't all that great. But you get the point.

I only have 168 bucks invested in this... I think it came out real good.

Merry Christmas!

Yeah it wasn't real easy.. but not all that hard either. Just time consuming.. Thanks for the feedback.

Looks like you got everything done perfectly. Takes about 2-3 hours depending on how comfortable you are with takign it apart.

Those "blax" look great......I was just talking to my son last week and he convinced me to change my bagger sliders to blax rather than chrome. I took a photo the other day to photo edit the sliders to blax.....now it is not really necessary!

Looks great and I am going to copy!

Cheers!

Sweet, glad to hear it wasn't too bad. I'll be doing mine in chrome right after I insulate the attic. Also I'm thinging of somenew mags, 21" in the front, love that look. Might wait until I get those in. Either way, glad to hear it went well
