Default Vented fairing differences

I've been told that they changed the caps somewhere around 2010 to have a slightly shorter extension across the engine bar, so I believe those can be different. Are the lowers themselves the same from 06-12 though? Reason I ask is that I'm putting together a set a lowers and I purchased a right lower already. I'm looking for a left now and, in some pictures, the area where the vents go looks square on some lowers and slightly angled downward on the bottom side on some of the other lowers. I don't want to end up with mismatched lowers but, from all the part numbers I've checked so far, I can't find that that the lowers themselves ever have ever changed from their -05 part number. Anyone know if the lower shells are all identical?

Thanks in advance for any assistance!

The lower portion now bears an -05A pn# and the top cap now bears a -10 pn#

Does anyone know what changed on the -05a lower versus the original -05 one?

I think the only difference in the 2 latest model fairing lowers is the way they mount to the engine guard and the design of the cap that covers the mounting hardware.

Could you clarify if you are you referring to the difference in the caps and mounting on non-vented versus vented lowers, or the vented -05 part # versus the vented -05A lowers? I can't tell any difference between the older vented ones in the mounting but I definitely see the difference in the caps with the shorter arm. I thought the vent opening area was different also but it looks slanted on the 2012s I looked at the dealership today so maybe it's just an optical illusion to me in the pics I saw.

Thanks again for taking the time to help.
