Interchangeable? Road King & Street Glide Slip-Ons

I'll probably get told that I can't do what I did or that it doesn't work, but..my alternative for aftermarket exhaust was to pick up a set of road king take offs. The slash cut matches the saddlebag angle better than the stock Streetglide mufflers. The info on the mufflers said they were for the twin cam 88. My bike is an 09, 96 ci. I used a hole saw to cut out the plugs in them and installed them. Quiet at idle with good sound with acceleration. Granted they are not Rhinehearts. But very acceptable. The O2 sensors and computer have made the adjustments needed and it runs well. Looks better than stock slash cut.
