Default GPS Navigation System

Looking foropinions on the different GPS units (Harley Road Tech Conquest, Garmin ,etc) and what the pros and cons are. Got a 2007 Road Glide and was thinking aboutthe fairing mounted one. Is installation difficult?

got me a garmin 2610. many people say it is the best, does about anything. you can find them on the net. really pleased with mine and after putting the 2 gb card into it, i can load the entire US and still store my trips on it.

Karl.... Maybe start a post and update us on this Zumo. I've read some of the good stuff it does, but need more info before I shell out those kinda clams for that device. I LOVE the bluetooth connectivity features and the fact that it handles calls from the cell, directions, mp3s, etc and sends it all to a bluetooth device (ie - helmet). VERY neat gift Karl. You must have been REAL good this year.

I got the Garmin Zumo on my Sporty. Haven't had a chance to set it up on my Ultra yet. I've also ordered the antenna bracket for the XM radio. That's the sweet thing about the Zumo it integrates quite a few things, and work with XMTrafficNav also.

Remember that the Zumo was specifically designed for use on a motorcyle. It's waterproof, fuel proof and the display works, and looks great under almost all lighting conditions.

Try this site http://razorbiker.com/zumo/index.php

It also moves easily from bike to auto without a hitch.

You get the Garmin Zumo, or the Garmin Nuvi 350 with the Bell bracket for the handlbars. Portable with a built in battery (its in my pocket), 100% reliable, easy to use. all of North America without having to add cards, etc. Zumo/Nuvi 2610 with much new technology and smaller size. Can be used anywhere anytime. People will tell you 2610 cause they've used it so long, but it's anchient technology compared to Nuvi/Zumo.

Many people are into the 2610 cause I believe Harley sold it, but the Nuvi/Zumo far better, smaller, etc. Nuvi $449 no tax no shipping on Amazon.
