I also picked up the chrome screws for both covers. Right now I am debating between getting the 6 sp or GMR 98" kit. Tough choice.... If I go with the BBK, I want the higher compression and will be (listen up Bounty) swapping out my T-Rex Duals for a Fat Cat 2 into 1 power pipe.
with the high comp 98" you can keep the true duals cause it'll make plenty of low end torque and you'll never miss the supposed advantages of the 2-1...THEN, you got most of the money for a 6sp [8D]...gear it right and you sure wont need no ugly 2-1 on a bagger

Good Dyno Tuners are a little bit shocked at what the numbers are with the T-rex's. Personally, I do not care what the numbers are, I just like to know my bike is running the way it should. Save your cash on new pipes and spend it else where. You have good pipes, and you like the sound.
That is good to hear. I haven't spoken to Steve yet but figured the pipe swap would of helped. I do prefer my duals over a 2 into 1 setup.
Bryan TTM- Did you go with GMR's hi-comp setup as listed on the site or did you make any changes? Any second thought on doing anything different for more gains?

I'd go with the 98" kit from GMR. I'm looking at the same thing. As far as pipes go, I talked to Steve last week and he was really big on the 2-1 pipes and really likes the D&D Fat Cats. I'm not sure I'd want the 2-1 look on my bike. I talked to the guys at R&R Cycles in NH and they like the V&H True Duals with the 95/98" build. I'd probably go this route and I can keep my V&H Oval slip-ons.
