iPod Interface on its way
I finally got around to ordering the ipod interface for my street glide and it is going to be delivered tomorrow. Bought everything for the install so that the ipod is safely stored in the saddlebag. Instead of buying the standard wiring harness for the install, I got the harness which will allow for install of speakers in the fairing lowers later on (pn: 69200106). I plan to take pictures and post when it is complete. Hope to have it all connected and working this weekend.

Forgot to take any pictures during the install. Only wish I had run the tank empty before running the ipod cable under the tank to the saddlebag first (a bit heavy when full). Got it in and and it works great. Now I've got tunes for the long rides and don't have to search for stations or burn to disc.

I still burn a disc for certain favorite songs. I have noticed (at least on my head unit) that CD's play louder than the iPod does, even after setting max output and EQ levels on the iPod.
