No it kinda is what he says it is. Been around for a while. Technoresearch is the company, look it up. He makes it sound like his guy(Danny's Cycle Service) is the only guy that can do it but there are others. The Dyno Difference in Dallas has or had the same equipment.
I did not know Delphi was direct link or vise versa, I thought they were two separate companies. Seem odd that Harley would not have had an agreement with Delphi not to produce tuners to compete against the SERT etc.

I believe they are 2 separate companies. There are the TTS and the PowerVision that do the same thing as the SEPST. I think the difference of the Technoresearch vs the TTS type link is that the shop has the investment rather than the bike owner as the shop owns the link rather than the bike owner. But this is just an observation.

no the tts does more then the sepst lol. I understand how it all works had the op said he was being tuned via direct link instead of delphi I would not have posted. I use both TTS and SESPT.Personally I think if you had a good Direct Link Tuner in your area it would be a good way to go. Unfortuneately many of the shops that Direct Link shows on their site do not know how to use it LOL.
Points well taken and good to know about the 6-6 cams. I am no tech by any stretch of the imagination but I an wondering if your true duals are hurting you #'s a little bit?
And I am hoping that sticking with a slightly more restrictive de-catted stock head pipe that I see a little better #'s than similar set-ups running aftermarket free flowing headers?
I would go the 2-1 exhaust route for a little better performance but I like 2 pipes on a dresser and I don't like the sound of a single pipe.
You are correct, true duals don't have as much TQ down low as a two into one, that being said, they're still FAR BETTER than what stock pipes will give you. I was willing to give up a few points in order to have the sound/look that I wanted. I also bought cams that I knew would work well in the event that I went with a big-bore kit such as fuelmoto's 107" kit (which I'll be doing shortly), so that I don't have to replace the cams when I did it. The trick is having good, matching components. Your de-cat'd exhaust will certainly be better off than stock, but I can't honestly tell you if they're as good as aftermarket products like Thunderheader/borzilla/fatcat, and I seriously doubt it. If it were that simple, that's what everyone would do!!!

Yeah i know the diff between tts and sepst too i was just commenting that they are flash based as far as being the same. It's is direct link or what used to be called direct link(Technoresearch calls it Flash Tuner now) that was used by that shop. I had heard of the direct link but there are no shops anywhere in cal that use it so I have zero knowledge of what you buy or get or cost????

Reason: removed anyways
I would have loved to seen a 6th gear run I bet you would be pushing 110 ft/lbs.
Not taking anything away from the 254e cams but Im getting this from a 96" engine with 204 cams. We have seen mid to upper 90's and 110 to 115tq in the 103" bikes so why choose any other cam. 204's seem to be a great combo for the 96 and 103 engines, I couldn't be happier.
