Shoot, I guess I need to sell the lowers I have at the house for the Road Glide.
Maybe I should have bought a Road Glide Ultra, gotten it repainted black denim, lowered it, changed out the turn signals and brake light, rear fender facia swap, changed the seat, etc. Probably would have cost way less than buying lowers and maybe a tour pack later on.........
I have a street glide because I don't like.the look of all the baggage that's on an ultra. I do like the look of the lowers though. And I strap on my tour bad when I need it. But really. Who cares why I do it?
well some of us can not afford to buy two bikes but it is easy to make one bike convert into two bikes. Tour pack on when i tour, tour pack off for running around. Best of both worlds. I would not want to own just one or the other but it is sure nice having both lol.
So I've seen this for many years.. People Buy a brand new/Used Ultra just to take the Lowers and Tour pak off to make it look like a SG.. Then I've seen people Buy a New/Used SG and add the tour pak and lowers.. Wouldn't it just be easier just to buy a damn SG if you want the SG look and if you want the Ultra look go buy the Ultra..
For myself.. I like how the Ultra looks with everything, Hence why I bought an Ultra because it comes with EVERYTHING. I don't plan on taking anything off of it. Just thought I would start this tread..
LMAO!!!Bet ya think a lil harder before ya start another one!
