Default Please help 03 ultra!!!!!!

Well ill start this off by saying i think i messed up. I just ordered an 18 rear wheel and cant find a TIRE....My question is, has anyone put an 18 on a ultra older than 05 and if so, what size tire are you running? ANY ADVICE WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED. And yes i have searched and no two answers are the same.

I think 18" rear will only fit 09 up bikes.

What width wheel did you get? Avon makes a 140/70-18 in the Roadrider & a 150/70-18 in the Venom & Metzeler Has a 150/70-18 in the 880. The 140 should fit without a problem the 150 might need a pulley spacer to miss the belt. None of them have the load capacity of the 16" tires, probably not good for riding 2 up fully loaded, they also don't wear very well, 5-8K at best.

thanks guys. i bought a 18x3.5 and am trying to get a 150/70/18 on it. I realize 18 is not the ideal rear wheel, but if im buying the rear for a bagger I want to see it.i think i will try a a 1/4'' pulley spacer if a 150 wont fit. I looked at a fitment chart that showed a 140 would fit on a 16'' wheel and a 150 on a 18

I had 18" front and rear aftermarket wheels on my 04 Ultra Classic. I remember that they were Metzeler tires. They were the ME880 tires.

metzeler made a 140/70-18 that was discontinued a few years ago. I have four scoots in the garage and all have metzelers. This may be part of my concern
