My CD player displays "Bad Disc" when I put one in on a 2005 Ultra. I will try a cleaner disc as soon as I get one, but i don't know if it even spins the disc before displaying Bad disc. If it dosen't spin the disc I don't think the cleaner disc will work.
Be careful with the cleaning discs.
You have a roller feed mechanism that will sometimes not allow the discs with a brush cleaner or "fin" cleaner to eject.
I agree with the 'might be the CD' crowd. Try another known good CD before blaming a player malfunction. If you find it plays some but not others you might look into a software upgrade.
