You could leave the truck and trailer at long term parking at the Denver airport. I would not go into Denver on a motorcycle. I have done it once and it was a difficult three hours going about 40 miles. Loop around Denver and enjoy Colorado.

I trailer to Colorado every year from Ohio. For the last 4 years I stored the enclosed trailer and SUV at Space Village Storage just off route 24 on the north east side of Colorado Springs. It's a nice safe place and easy to get to. I store the SUV inside and the trailer outside. Their web site is http://yourstoragecenter.com/. From there you can get to wherever you want to go in Colorado. I've been all over it. It's the best state for riding. And, ignore all the crap you're getting about riding your bike instead of trailering. Do it the way YOU want to do it.

Having suffered through 90 temps and +95 humidity through Iowa, MN, KS (more than once)...I say trailer. It's just no fun slogging down the interstate in July across the plains.

Do check with motels or area dealers. Both should let you keep your stuff there. Colorado is a great state to ride. I've lived here since '84 and never get tired of the roads or scenery.

This is the best response. Colorado Springs is ideally located for touring Colorado.

They have changed their name from Space Village to Your Storage Center. By they way they are bikers as well and biker friendly.

Your Storage Center at Peterson AFB7230 Space Village Ave.
Colorado Springs, CO 80929-9318

Are you staying for a few days? If so, pick a motel that will allow you to keep the trailer and tow vehicle there while you have fun. This will be especially easy if you come back to the same motel each night. If they won't let you keep your rig there you have the wrong hotel. 4 years ago, I stayed at a biker friendly, mom and pop motel on the west side of Loveland. I left my trailer there for 2 days as we rode the area. We returned each night. I can't remember the name of the place but most motels are just as amenable. Make a reservation in advance because July is tourist season out there.

I have another suggestion for what to do there. Take your bike for a ride through the Rocky Mountain National Park. The road starts just west of Estes Park. It is spectacular, rising to around 13,000 feet, which is well above the tree line. Take warm clothes. The high for the day at the top was 40 and it was the first week in August.
