Took her in for a 5k service today. Hopefully everything comes out ok. This will be the first service I've had done since I bought it in February. It's almost like having a family member in the hospital.

 

HaHa - I know the feeling. Mine is in for the 1K. The Wifey has me busting my hump with her ToDo list. Hope they call soon so I can escape.

 

I always wait for mine. They get it done a little faster that way. Mine goes in for its 10,000 mile service on the 17th.

 

I take mine in for the 1000 mi service on Saturday (7Apr). I am waiting for it as the dealer is 100 mi from the house. Total time out of the seat should be 3 hours including a wash. My riding partner has taken his to the same dealer and they usually beat the time they allot to complete the work and the quality is great. He used to own a race car and is very particular about the maintenance.
