The Brembo brake pads sold by hd as hd pads are really Brembo pads. Its embossed right into the pads themselves. I don't have any issue with them.
No squeak and no dust. I don't get why people don't like them.
NO DUST ---- Crap.. no way.. just a 20min ride and my white saddle bags are coated with a layer of black dust form rear pads... i dont get know anyone whom dont complain of stock brakes dust issues...not to mention the dust pits the stock non alumin rims...
I purchased a full set of Z+ pads for my 09 Ultra (brembo) non ABS setup.
They feel nicer and smoother , stopping power is less than stock , but not by much.
What I do like is the feel at less than 2 mph with the lyndalls , very smooth and linear.
No noise and very low dust.
Yes I did say the lyndall pads have "less" stopping power than the stockers did.
My biggest beef with the lyndall pads is with wet (raining) stopping power , they have "much less" than the stock pads.
I contacted lyndall with my concern and they said they would give me a "very good" discount on a full set of gold pads if I would like , as they have run into this before.
I'm not a fair weather rider at all , so this was a big concern to me , but lyndall seems to want to make me happy , and that says alot about their customer service.
I will probably take them up on their offer and post back at a later time.
Other than wet stopping power , I'm pretty happy with them overall.
