Some RG mods including PBR-300x2 Amp install
I just recently had my inner fairing painted. While doing this, I decided to do a couple of other projects. Installing the Polk MM651s, PBR300x2, garage opener mod, and aux jack mod on the radio. I thought I would share some info/pics/resources so it may help someone out.
Amp Install

4 ft 16 gauge speaker wire-2 bucks@ Lowes
I cut the RCA jacks off of the input cable and added 2 ft of speaker wire to the right and left side. I added 2 .250" blades and 2 .187" blades. These connected to the stock wiring harness. I did not need to add any wiring to the crossover/speaker side. As you can see in the pics I mounted the crossovers to the top of the radio.
I did bend these down a little. They seemed to be hitting the outer fairing.
Cross-overs on top of the radio.

I removed the inductor instead of cutting the trace..seemed safer.
I got the grommet and cable at radio shack.(Be sure you get the stereo cable)
Garage remote MOD

I mounted the remote behind the left glove box as shown in the pic. Instead of cutting the connector off and attaching to the remote and added wire and used the mating housing.
