Default OEM left crossover pipe?

Does anyone manufacture an aftermarket OEM left crossover pipe? There are a few great head pipes out there along with de-cated OEM pipes, but everytime I see that left crossover, it makes me wonder how restrictive it really is.

I think what he means is an aftermarket cross pipe with the OEM specs. Just a thought...

I'm not quite with your question-

but my experience with 88, 95 and 09 stock bagger type headers ( all no cat), has about 70% of the flow from the right muffler on all 3 designs.

probably close to 100% of the front cylinder goes to the right side, and the rear is split between the right and left sides- this may equalize more with high flow ( high rpm) if the right muffler is flowing all it can...but I use hi flow mufflers ( supertrapps) so I dunno

Some have successfully plugged the left side completely if that gives you any idea.

I was looking at that when I changed my exhaust out. May as well be a 2 into 1

An important benefit of the cross-over pipe is the scavenging effect. Exhaust from the previously fired cylinder creates a "pull" to the firing cylinder and adds power in the form of torque to the engine.
