I need to re glue my left grip and was wondering what type of glue is used to glue the left grip to the handlebars ?

Any help out there ?

Old School........ cloth friction tape, and hair spray. Trust me, you'll have to cut the grip off.

Wrap the bar in a spiral from the inside working out to the end of the bar. Tuck the tape into the open end of the bar. Spray the tape and inside of the grip with hair pray.... lots of hair spray ..... twist the grip on.

I asked this question over the winter, lots of ideas out there. I was installing a used ISO grip and for the first try used some auto parts type spray adhesive. It didn't work, broke free right away. For the 2nd try I used some Gorrilla glue. I think its a Super Glue product in a bottle. Seems real solid, hasn't broke free after about a month of riding.

I just swapped my grips when I installed new bars, and I used gasket adhesive spray. Worked like a charm.

Every dirt bike shop stocks "grip glue", dont know why its so hard to find at Harley dealers or aftermarket shops but all dirt bike shops have it!
