I think from what ive read you can always try canned tune from computer and If no like it just take it outand/orhave it dyno'd with tuner.

Was it worth the money in your opinion? I have an 06' Street Glide that I put Rineharts, PCIII, and a SEAC on, and they used the map on the web site of Power Commander that had the exact setup.
So do you feel that there maps are close, or was there a major difference. Some people have said that there pretty close. I'm just trying to find out if it's worth the money to dyno?

If you get your power commander from Jamie at fuelmotousa and tell him what you have on the bike he will set it up with a semi custom map that will be 99.9% if you want 100% then its off to the dyno. also if you buy from Jamie then make a change on the bike he will send you a new map at no charge on request.there is a dealer in atlanta who will dyno for $95.00 + but I am not fond of their work. if you decide to dyno find a tuner that you trust even if it is a few dollars more

PCIII can be programed from your home computer. I am not sure on the SERT as I do not have one. Also, a good Dyno Tuner should be able to tune your bike in 2-hours or less. I was told by the people that did mine it takes longer to tune a SERT. I paid $350.00 for the dyno tune on my PCIII.

I response to Bagger Dave, I have the same set up as you do. I ran with the canned map from Power Commander and had $150 burning a hole in my pocket so I had it dyno'd. Truthfully, I think it ran fine with the factory map. Now it pops a lot on the decel and hesitates a bit on the accel. I think I will disable the accel fuel pump software to see if I can get it to smooth out. Or take it back to have it dyno'd again (hopefully, at no cost) to get it smoothed out. Also, regarding Fuelmoto's maps. I'm having a hard time seeing where his "custom" maps would be any better than the factory maps. Every individual engine has it's own personality and the only way to tweak it all the way in is to have it dyno'd, no?
I'm no expert on SERTS, never run one, the power commander with a mildbuildand down load from PC site will be 95% correct, say your bike runs 80hp, you find a tuner that gets you 100% you'll only gain maybe 4hp is the $150 worth the gain. On a mild build a good tuner should be able to tune in no more than 3 runs and normally that's less than 1 hour. Where you run into these 4 to 6 hour tunes are with big inch, high hp builds with highly tuneable exhaust.
