This question is geared more to the short riders out there, but any advice will help out. I spoke to one of the guys at C&C about getting the square back seat and when I gave him my height he mentioned that their seat will push me back about a inch which will be a little bit to much for my height(5'7"). What I would like to know from you 5'6" / 5'7" riders, is the seat just fine the way it is? Should I have it reworked up a inch or two? If I buy a stock seat and it does not work for me, I'm screwed and sending it back to have it reworked is going to cost a lot more. Thanks in advance for the help.
Can't speak for the squareback, but... I have a 2009 Street Glide with a C&C Solo seat w/ backrest. I am 5'8" with a 30" inseam. Seat is a little better than stock for reaching the ground at a stop, but not much. Riding...I would not trade it for the world.
My C&C Solo is awesome. 5'7" 30" inseam. I like to ride stretched out so it is perfect for me. Stock was crowded to the front and on my tip toes. Only thing I would do different would be optioning gel!
If you like the square back look...check out the saddlemen signature pro tour slammed. Very comfy seat with gel. And doesn't move you back and is narrow enough to flat foot. 29" inseam on me. I love the seat and have put a few thousand happy miles on it.
I like the look of the seat. You know if you can get a drivers backrest with it?

Do you have your stock bars on? I will be putting on the Wild1 apes on my scoot. Don't know if it will make a difference.

I am 5'7" and really had a tough time comfortably reaching the ground on my stock 2010 StreetGlide seat. The issue was the newer frame is wider at the seat area and it was spreading my legs out and making it difficult to flat-foot while seated on the bike.
Chuck at C&C worked with me and narrowed the nose of the SportTourer and also moved me an inch or so FORWARD. It works. Love the saddle and the SERVICE from C&C. They can and will "fit" you if you work with them and give them accurate information. If you are comfortable where you sit on the stock saddle (back, forward, whatever), they can and will modify their seat to WHERE you want to be sitting. Yes, the stock C&C saddle will sit you about an inch back compared to the HD stock saddle, but they can change that for you if it doesnt fit you.

I was told if I get a stock and need to get that one worked, it's gonna cost me a lot more. I'm better off going custom. So moving you a inch forward put you at the same measurements as the HD stock seat. I'm going to have to sit on the stock seat and really see whats going to work.

there you go, precisely. Sit on your bike with the stock seat and sit so you are comfortable, front forward and back. Then tell Chuck where you are on the stock seat and he will modify the new C&C saddle to put you exactly in the same spot......worked for me. there was no extra charge for the C&C for my mods.
