Default Ultra windshield

This my first Ultra. 2006. I got rid of the stock shield and put on a Freedom shield. Great windshield but riding the other day and got caught in a good rain storm. I was surprised how the water just stayed on the shield. I can see over the shield and my riding glasses were getting cover with rain drops to the point my vision was getting impaired. I have a 93 fatboy with a windshield and riden in the rain and the water beads just roll off. At least it gives you a fighting chance to see where you are going. I thought with the Ulta with its fairing, the water would just roll off but it doesn't. maybe a fix for this?

Have you ever noticed that the rain doesn't blow of on your car's windshield either. Don't know why.

Clean the shield with Lemon Pledge.
