Anybody else's go bad, took the bike in for 30,000 mile service. They told me all the parts are wasted,of course they don't have have them in stock
Never had a problem with any ultra I've owned, guess the "limited" might have some issues. On a second note,my radio goes in and out, till I rock the speaker switch. They say nothing's wrong!! How many times can you rock a switch in 30,000 miles!!! Grrr
Are you still covered with the original 2 year warranty or did you get an extended warranty? Or are you now out of pocket?
I looked in my service manual to see how they check the compensator. If you trust your service department, great, if not it looks like it would be easy enough to check yourself.
The radio problem is BS but you'd probably have to leave it for a while for them to diagnose it.
Maybe they could take a close look at the issue with the stereo while their waiting for your compensator to come in?!?!
Good luck!
