Don't drop it more than inch or you will be bottoming out going over speed humps, driveway curbing, pot holes. Mine is lowered two inches and I will never do it again and will have it raised when and if i ever have the money. LOL

Doing the mod cause I'm short. I've already had the Mean City Cycles seat mod done. Everybody should do that no matter your height. It makes the miles so much easier. I'm gonna try the 1" lowering block with caution for now. I've seen the Bitchin Baggers shocks and may consider them. I'm out of the riding scene for a few weeks due to back surgery. Looking for a good deal on a riders back rest so I can get back in the saddle ASAP! Let me know if y'all see one.

Good question torg, i was wondering the same thing about lowering the front. I know progressive has the drop in kit that seems fairly easy. Ill update when i get the lowering blocks on the rear. Should be here wed by the latest.

For what it's worth, I have a 99Eglide that I lowered the front 2" and put 11" Progressive 412's in the back. Got some rubbing inside the back fender and the ride sucked with the 412's, so I put the stock shocks with lowering blocks back on; no more rubbing in the rear and better ride. The front fender would have been mashed if the 'towel bar' on the spot lite bracket had been there, as it is the screw on the headlight trim ring hits occasionaly. As far as I can tell the travel in the front is the same, just further up the fork tubes.
