I'm using a pair of Progressive 412 HD shocks, 11.5 inch, along with the Road6 lowering blocks on the second hole. The ride is a bit stiffer than stock, but it's worth it to get the bike lower. I used the HD shocks since most of my riding is 2 up, and I didn't want to risk bottoming out.

With the Legends air ride, it was good for very smooth roads but anytime I hit a bump or just the highway it felt like I was riding on cement tires. Could never find the right adjustment for a good ride. I am happy with mt solo mustang seat with backrest cut down as I am now flat footed.

I don't know how hard it is to install...I had it done by a mechanic, but you will love it! It makes a big difference in the hamdling!
