Default Bogging Down When Starting Out

I had the 103 Stage II kit put in my 09 Street Glide. The canned HD map for the race tuner wasn't that good, popping on decel and the bike, at times, feels like it want to stall from a dead stop. I have to give it more throttle and feather the clutch a bit, which I don't like. So I had it dynoed. A little better on the popping, but the bogging down from a stop is still there. In addition, the engine light comes back on right after starting the bike, stays on for about 3 or 4 seconds and then goes out. I'm going to take it back to where I had it dynoed, but I would like to see if anyone has any ideas on this for when I talk to them. I think it's all a tuning problem, but all I'm doing is guessing. Thanks.

i would bring it back to the dyno, also the engine light staying on and going out means your have a error code that has been confirmed in the ecm if the light goes out that means its been resolved but is still in the memory you need to clear it out and the check light will not come back on. as far as decel pop goes its one of those things that may or may not be able to be resolved depending on your exhaust. These bikes all pop but with the epa mufflers you never hear it once you open it up thats when it happens. Tuning causes it, exhaust leak at a connection or at the heads causes it, intake leaks cause it. After all leaks have been verified and tuning has been redone if you still get some poppping that may be the way it is.

The Race Tuner will allow you to check "error codes".
