Is there any site or a way to do a search to see what dealers have in stock.
?
Here in Florida we have dealers every 50 miles.
When you go to their site you get the Main HD site.
I don't want to call or drive around to all the dealers.
I would like to put in the model and color I want and then I can go drool over it.
That's up to each dealer what they post online. But you usually can talk to a rep and if they don't have one they can tell you where the closest one is and could get it transferred in for you.
most dealer web sites i've gona to have a "new inventory" section.. although IF you find what you want there i would definately call ahead to confirm i've seen quite a few dealers that pretty much list their whole allotment for the year on the "new inventory" section, and then never update it...which means the bike could very well be gone or not coming in for another 6 months.
Any dealer any where can tell you what every other dealer has in stock for bikes.
I have also had reps at the Parts Counter able to tell me who has a particular part I need.
