Does the Anderson kit work with the newer bikes that have the stereo amp mounted under the tour pack?

The '06 UC with the adjustable TP, does the George Anderson kit allow the TP to be adjusted back 2+" beyond that already provided for? Because I put the rider backrest on and my wife is complaining about lack of space for her. And she's a little lady, 112lbs.

I was talking to my brother about this. Has anyone thought about just drilling 4 new holes in the stock U bracket to move the pack back this way? Seems like a simple job for someone with a drill press or even a machine shop that wouldn't cost much.

Hmmmm........ I'm sure if it was that simple there wouldn't be all these fancy brackets.[sm=confused06.gif]
