Hi, I am hoping someone can point me in the right direction. My volume **** on my 07 Electra Glide Classic quit working and in trying to get it going I took the left hand control assembly apart to see if I could get it working again. It looks like the thumb control fits into a housing and was broken inside. I am trying to locate the part to replace but am having trouble...when I did a search on the internet I came up with a couple of sites that said the part is either obsolete or discontinued. I am hoping something can be done to get back in business...the radio works fine but I am not able to adjust the volume at all. Any suggestions on my best course of action here?

Why not start with the H-D dealer?
I'm fairly cetain that these are common parts that have been used for several years.

 

Pry off the volume **** and make sure its not just a worn out ****. As for the switch, It costs 60 at the dealer, They all have it in stock
