Inforit's comments and photo show the differences between the HD beach bars and the Chubby 508's. Looks like the 508's have about 2 more inches of pullback and angle the grips differently. I had not done a direct comparison between the two, but when I sat on a Custom at the dealership, the bars seemed very close to my 508's. It's worth mentioning that the 508's have a more pronounced "wheelbarrow" grip angle. After a few days ride this angle felt natural, but it was quite different that the stock bars on my Road King Classic!

I have an 07 RK Custom with the stock beach bars and for me they are great. I'm 5' 11" and have no problem with comfort or maneuverability.

I put the custom bars on my classic 10 yrs ago and love them. I also disagree with the statement about discomfort on long rides. My shoulders don't hurt nor do my arms get numb as they did on the standard rk bars. Your stock cables work as well.

Bikers, this thread is over 7 years old. You might get lucky but I bet they are gone

For those who still care about this thread. I have a stock 2017 Street Glide and beach bars on a 2000 Fat Boy. Love the beach bars except in tight turns. I feel like i have to lean forward too much to reach the far grip. I'm 5'9 so my wing span isn't that great.

Not a big deal - I wouldn't change them but if you are into tight twisty roads the beach bars might not be the best fit.
