Getting the cat out will be sufficient, I wouldn't wait the lead time on the ceramic pipe but just me, I had the non ceramic coated pipe on my old bike and it was fine. And I'm down in FL......

As Fire-Medic said, standard pipe. I like the pipe for the loss of heat, low end power and the lifetime warranty. It is noticably lighter than stock too.
