Default Jackpot and 2-1-2 Header

Finally got my FuelMoto 2-1-2 header and now matched up with the Jackpot slip ons on my Street Glide. Overall pleased but it sounds like the majority of the sound is coming from the right side slip on. Would it make a difference in going to a full sized crossover pipe to the left side?

That's just the way it sounds, mine on the last bike was the same. In "theory" a larger custom made crossover "could" affect performance because the Jackpot pipe was designed to work with the stock crossover pipe. Basically you have 2 pipes, but it sounds like having a 2-1.....

At least that was my experience, bike ran great though......

Can't wait to get mine. Ordered it this morning and was told there is a 10 week wait for the ceramic.

Mine sounds the same way and they make it very clear which muffler to mount on the left side. Like it isn't pretty obvious anyway.

So, is there an adverse impact from using other slip ons that are not compensated for the xpipe?

I wondered the same thing, there are two distinct sounds coming from the pipes with most coming from the right pipe. When you order the quiet baffle it actually tones down the right making the left louder, takes some getting used to. The left baffle is quit a bit diff from the right looks like its made to muffle a large % of exhaust flow.. they are dyno tuned so there must be a science to em?

$479. Hmmm. If I go for the true duals, I'll need to change the slip ons.
