From what the OP says, I think the Rinehart 4" would be too loud for you. They sound mean at idle, and are definitely loud and deep, but not quite obnoxious. They also mellow out at speed, but I think all pipes do once you get moving.

Monster Rounds are a good resonator choice. Anti-reversion characteristics are built in. Nice throaty tone. But be carefull when pulling out of certain driveways as they are a little more on the long side than most exhausts. The added circumferance will drag the bottom lip.

I just put a set of Monster Rounds on my 96" king, to replace the SE Touring Mufflers, (Screaming Eagle Part #80732-09). I also have the Jackpot 2-1-2 stainless head pipes.

These V&H pipes are loud, in fact too loud for me. On a run or in a built up area they will drive me mad.
I'm not sure they provide enough back pressure for my 96" motor either.

I'm going to look at fitting some sort of baffle in them to lose a bit of noise.

If you click on the second link you can hear what 5K miles on the rounds sound like. If you click on the ( more from tab ) there it will show a sound clip where I pulled one baffle out, the other was still in. I will post a video of baffles replaced with fiberglass wrap removed.

Guys, can you tell me..........

Is it just the two allen screws that have to be pulled to get the baffles out?

I have the Monster Rounds with everything else stock. It's pretty mellow with a nice deep grown but I still tend to set off car alarms.

Oh a side note on V&H's customer service. I had a bubble in the chrome in one of the end caps. Emailed them pics and some other info and in less than a week, I had a replacement cap in the mail. Pretty awesome if you ask me. But I have yet to put it on cause I can't figure out how to pull out the cap enough to take it off. The baffle gets stuck after about 2" out. I tried pulling, twisting, pulling and twisting. Sucker just doesn't want to come off. I didn't want to damage anything so I'm living with it and hoping that one day it'll slide out easily

See the pictures in the link. Once the baffle is about 2" out ( you can use a hammer and a block of wood on the ridge of the end cap and tap on the block) to get it out more. There is a metal ring with a couple of allens screws in the back side of the end cap the fiber glass wrap hides it, peel it back to access.
