Pine Tree,

That's exactly what I wanted to hear...the truth! Thanks... Makes sense to me...who better to answer a warranty question than the ones that hold the warranty...HD.

Sounds like this Master Tuner is the charm.

The TTS is a fine product and with a proper Dyno will work wonders.

I don't recommend that you purchase the TTS Mastertune from Kuryakyn though. While at Laconia bike week in 2010, a slick Kuryakyn sales rep talked me into purchasing the TTS Mastertune for my '10 Limited. They installed one of their canned maps on my bike that day and on the way home I noticed the bike pinging on acceleration, this had not occurred prior to their loading of the canned map. Later in the summer while out in Sturgis, I ran across the Kuryakyn trailer in the lot of the HD dealer in Rapid City. I explained the pinging situation to the sales guy who had sold me the TTS in Laconia. He introduced me to the Kuryakyn tech who claimed to have developed the canned maps that they install with the Mastertune. He was no help and claimed that the problem was not due to their map but instead was some other problem with the engine and sent me off to the service department at the HD dealership. The HD dealership was unable to find any issue with the engine. I'll never forget the complete lack of customer service that the Kuryakyn tech provided that day and it is unlikely that I will ever purchase anything from them in the future.

Tony a canned map is a canned map. It isn't all tell and play. The canned map is a starting spot for you or your tuner to start your bike and refine from there on. In all respect, you were misinformed and they should of explained everything in a little more detail.
I have used their product in 2 of my builds and I am very pleased. Gene at kury is very informative and very easy to talk with, he has a 103 build in his bike with lots of miles, touring double up and he pulls a trailer.
I am using the same builds in both of my bikes. Very pleased.
