The original paint was in great condition. I bought the bike with full intentions of rattlecanning it flat black. It being butt ugly two-toned blue was more of a reason in doing it sooner than later.
i will post more pics tomorrow morning. I am nearly complete. Everything is painted i am just now putting it back together.

More updated pics. Just woke up and have to try to put this thing all back before 11:30 am. Will take more pics as soon as It is back together.

When pulling it apart, I decided to paint the rear fender in place. No way I wanted to screw with all that down there in such a short time.

You did a great job getting a smooth coat of paint. Big flat sufaces are great for showing how poorly your work is. Yours looks good.

Nope. Love the idea that I just spray touch-ups as needed.
