Thank you, I know I got the same response from my dad and brother. Than after it was done and they saw it in person, they were like "D@mn, That looks Sick!!!"
My nephew, who painted cars and bikes for a living, told me that this was way cool to do!
Black most dashing color. It is great of having black color bike that gives amazing personality on any vehicle. It is suitable for any design and also for every person. Doesn't matters what color his/her has.

That is the great thing about HD in some way, shape or form we all will amke our bikes our own. I have never seen a flat black ultra, I like the bling and shinny side of life when it comes to paint, but I can see where your coming from. I am very intersted to see what the whole thing will look like when done. So far your work with a spray can is very impressive, I hope you will like your results. it is not my cup o tea but it is coming along well. Good luck. Shinny side up, or should I say flat side up!!!

WOW!!!! that looks different. Kind of reminds me a bit of my highschool days a buddy of mine a a 70 nova and it was primer grey but had some bling on it and man was it fast. I think your bike looks great, it is very different, I still like my paint shinny, but you did an outstanding job with a spray can, from the pics it looks pro. Very unique congrats on the look. How do you like it? Is the outcome what you were going for? Just asking because it is a big bike and a lot of paint, sometimes colors and things can overwhelm, say for example the yellow on the new CVO ultra, poor choice for HD on that one. I like the look of your bike, maybe HD will pick up on the popularity of the flat look and offer it on the touring models besides the SG.
Thought I would put in an update.
Paint is holding up great. I am shocked in how well it is doing. Rode it almost all winter including passing salting trucks and no after-baths.
