The easiest solution is to use the crow's foot at a right angle (90 degrees) to the shaft of the torque wrench. With this configuration, the difference in torque is truly insignificant and can be safely ignored. If you have to use a crows foot mounted to the torque wrench off the end @ 0 degrees you can find a calculator online.

Getting the standard I guess. I realize the Dyna one works for Dyna's of course, and for Touring, so I'm not sure if one's better than the other for a Touring bike. I better ask them before I place the order.
Well, hopefully for me they don't offer free shipping in May- that's a $90 value right there.
Funny, I was all set on the J&S, but then read the thread on here about the bottles leaking, so I went of Pitbull's site and saw they had the $50 off. Plus, I was going to pay $460 shipped for the J&S, which includes the oil drain pan, and the Pitbull will be $530 shipped (they don't offer any oil drain pans), so really I'm spending $70 more, and I'm sure it will be my first and last bike lift purchase.
I thinking putting 100 ft. lbs of torque on a crows foot is a recipe for disaster. Maybe not, just seems like that could be a real problem. That is a lot of pressure. If you are at 100 ft. lbs. with a socket then you are at 111 ft. lbs. with a crows foot, I don't think that is insignificant.

Not to hijack the thread, but aren't the bottles on both jacks made in China? I have the J&S stand and so far no leaks...hopefully won't have any. Wonder who has an American made bottle so I can replace mine.
There is no difference worth bothering about when using a crows-foot, compared with a socket. None of us is likely to have equipment accurate enough to measure the difference, also the tightness is not that critical.
If the crows foot is 2" in length attached to a 23" torque wrench and the desired torque is 100 ft lbs you are actually applying 108ft lbs. Within the window of tolerances.
