keep us posted. don't admit to ****. your bike is stock and the dealer does all your services AND you have a lot of freinds on internet forums that want to know if you are being taken care of.
I'm subscribing, shouldn't even be a fight, definitely warranty. Check out the video Frank at Dragos recently put out, almost new engine with unbelieveably sloppy tolerances.
at idle it was at about 10 -15psi..at speed alittle over 32 psi...here in Chicago it was about 75 today..and the bike hadn't been running that long.. that was the first thing i looked at was oil pressure.. guess i should put the $ out for a temp gauge..but it didn't seem to be hot. i did forget to note..that once i shut her off at home..she kicked back like a mule.. let her sit for awile and she started right up..no drag or anything but still knocking like a b - - ch...
Those pressures were good and the temperature should have been just fine, you should be covered without a doubt. It depends on what they find for a cause if they rebuild or give you a new motor. Either way they are going to make sure it's all up to spec and then some ! Let us know, Good Luck !
My 10 road king is doing same thing. 30,000 miles on it. I rode heavy for 1200 miles, two up- pulling trailer. I had just put on Hd oil cooler too. Keep us posted.
Talked to my dealer"s service manager today.. Explained what was up and as good as i could what it sounded like. They are usually great so i'm not to worried (YET). Say's it don't sound to good and not to ride it up there. they are coming out to pick it up tomorrow (Sat.) Tech say's it sounds like something let loose in the top end and may have taken out something in the bottom...My family and me have dealed with them for yr's so i'm thinking he may be preparing me for the worst.. +1 on the 103 idea..was thinking about going that way sooner or later..i guess it may be sooner..Have to wait and see what the feared (((MoCO))) has to say and the out of pocket expense.. First time i ever had to deal with anything this serious on any off my past bike's . Been lucky,,always been little stuff.
