2011 E/G Ultra 96 engine toasted.

Sorry for the wait. Tried to post Sat. but i guess it didn't go thru. Anyway.. looks like i'm getting a new motor. Dealer picked up the bike Sat. got word today. now i not a wrench so some of it was a little hard for me to figure but the short of it as i get it....broke a chunk out of the front piston by the pin ??.. tore up the cylinder wall(ok that i get) metal thru out motor..no need to take it down farther ?? New motor under warranty..don't know how long yet.says just a freak thing..(HMMM) does not see a real reason it happened.. i guess maybe i was unlucky... Does' nt make alot of scene it me. Going to try to get to the dealer in person... maybe i'll understand more having it explained in person.

If I were you I would write a letter explaining what happened to the bike along with the dealers info to MOCO just as a CYA.
