Roadglide Question regarding helmets
Hello all,
I have a heritage softail. Im 5"4. I only ride with a Full Face lid, and would like to move into a touring bike.
Is the Roadglide superior to the Streetglide for Full Face helmet riding? I currently have my heritage and a kawasaki z750.....
Im not satisfied with the handling characteristics of the softail, although I love the aesthetics.
Any full face helmet riders own a batwing and like riding full face with it? Any roadglide riders like fullface?
Chees!

I am interested as well. I have owned an Electra Glide and Road King. I normally wear a full-face and found that there is less buffeting with the Road King while wearing a full-face. I just sold my RK and am in the market for a new bike and this issue will defiantly play a factor in my decision.
Different windshields, different helmets, different seats, different rider sizes. Some work for some, some work for others. I've had four different shields with different helmets and they worked or didn't work. Honestly it's a crap shoot.
I currently have a CeeBaileys 14" TRSSC and I had a Nolan N-103 FF helmet and it worked great with no buffeting. I recently bought a Nolan N-104 FF and now have some buffeting, not much but just a helmet change made a difference. On the other hand with a 12" Windvest shield I couldn't wear a half-helmet due to shaking but with the new CB shield the half-helmet is fukn perfect. FF helmets seem to work the best without shields, I had a Night Train and my helmet was rock solid on that without a shield.
