Default 4 point docking issue on my 2010 flhx

I just removed the 2 point docking system and installed the 4 point. The 2 point worked great, but wanted to add a luggage rack, when the 4point was finished the passenger back rest does not line up, it's like the 4 point is to wide or the backrest is not wide enough. As or does anyone have any ideas on what the deal is???? Any ideas would be great!
This is on my 2010 street glide!

if installed correctly, the 2009+ 4 point should look like this:

Seen a few riders mix up the spacers

The spacer should be on the front mounts. And the forks on the attachment go on the spacers. The back should then lock in.

Perhaps you only removed 2 screws on each side. There are 3 and the ones left in cause the system to not fit quite right.

I thought I screwed up when I installed mine, the front of the backrest hooks on the shocks not the front of the mount. Give that a try.
