Default Triple Tree Deflector

Was cruising an accessory website and saw a triple tree wind deflector for HD touring models. Would like feedback from those who may have installed one.

Thanks

the thing what looks like a 1/2 dish ?

Was std on evos now an add on.

Makes a slight difference with air coming up in front of the tank.

I put one of my Pal's FLHTK and he didn't notice any difference- then I pointed in out to him...and he still didn't notice any difference.

It may help in the rain, a lot of spray can come up inside the fairing- I stretch a bungee across the mirror stalks and hang a rag over it to catch the spray

I took the one off my evo and put in on my 09

You will barely notice a change, but they do help a little.

You're talking about the fork baffle?

Some say it doesn't do much. Harley has put on some models and not others.

I have it on my S/E Road Glide, and with the lowers installed it takes a lot of the air blasting up in front of the tank away. ( Which is really nice in a rainstorm.)

I do think the lowers make a big difference with the baffle together.

You can get a black one on EBay for about $6.

Mine works fine for me, most noticed when the wind is very cold.
Less wind up the face.

Works well when used withvthe fork lowers. Not as well by itself. They say it can affect the motor in hot weather. Forces air down to the front cylinder, but not the rear one.

Have it on both my bikes. Both bikes have lowers. Cuts down on the air coming up in front of the tank. I run mine year round.

First mod I made. I noticed immediately that my sunglasses didn't jump around anymore. I'm sure individual heights and other mods can affect results but I am a fan.

I had one and took it off recently. Rode about a hundred miles in the rain and didn't notice any difference as far as rain coming up the tank. I was concerned that it might block air flow to the heads and removed it.
