Take the ignition switch cover off..You can youtube how its not hard but there is just a trick to it,,as long as you have key..
Theres only a couple of thing that can make it do that..Its not lined up or the keypin tab underswitch is not passing threw the little slide area,but when you pull the switch cover off youll see the problem unless it is the whole switch!!Then if its that the switch is $122.00 from harley..
You push it down then twist! If it won't turn then there is a mechanism under the switch that needs some attention and fine-tuning. Time to buy a factory service manual so you can work out what is involved.
