Cables are loose...

I switched out the stock throttle cables withchrome ones and now my cablesarereally loose. It looks like they are loose from the mounting into the throttle grip control. Tried the adjustment nut on the cable but that didn't do anything but loosen up my throttle tension. Am I missing something?

Loosen the nut and turn the cable itself to loosen or tighten!

You should have twolittleC clips on each cable that hold them into the switch housing covers. Loosen the cables and look to see if they are there. If not, take the ones off the stock cables and use them.
