Trying to minimize the shaking i get with my glasses on my flhx without compromising the sleek look of the street glide, demoed 6.5 kw its better but thinking maybe 7 wind splitter however my dealer doesnt have it as a demo as someone stole it,they do have the 4.5 but would i be wasting my time,i do plan on keeping my stock seat, any thoughts?
I found that glasses with a strap helped a lot, I recently went with a new pair of oakleys, they fit the bridge of my nose better and I dont get as much chatter with them.
I am 6ft tall and running stock seat for 1 up and sundowner for 2 up. I like the KW 6.5. But agree find another dealer with a demo shield. Some dealers have the KW shields too.
I tried a 7'' Windsplitter on my '10 SG and it didn't work for me. Loved the looks, but it allowed the air to dump right into my face. I'm 6'3'' with 34'' inseam if that gives you any reference.
Update: Bought the 10'' H-D Wind Splitter and I love it. Looks good and performs very well. See Sig Pic

Reason: Update
There seem to be so many variables, that what works for one person can often be unacceptable for another. Sadly, it looks like experimentation is the best way to find what is ideal for you.
I have the Klock Werks and like it and had good results with the LRS as well. Many folks are finding the Windsplitter to be a good choice, and I really like the appearance of that windshield. I have used taller versions of the Klock Werks than what you are considering, and it has done a good job of managing wind.
I'm considering trying a Windsplitter next, but at some point you just get tired of spending money trying to solve a difficult challenge!
i tried the KW 6.5 and hated the distortion and went with the HD windsplitter. im 6'1" and i get a little wind but nothing like i used to and oh by the way are you running the fork baffle ? if not i highly suggest it. theres ALOT of wind coming up from under these bikes. while riding down the road take your left arm and hold it across your body in the chest region and youll block wind.
You might also want to try the LRS Stealth. It is much cheaper...
I am 5.10" and I can see over the Stealth 10" perfectly. Height-wise, I compare it to a regular 8" windshield.

How tall are you? If you're over 6' then a taller shield might solve the issue, but if you're 5'-8" or so the problem is probably the wind coming from under the fairing, it creates a tremendous amount of turbulence for us shorter guys. Seems like it doesn't affect taller guys as much, probably because they're up in cleaner air coming over the top of the shield. Changing shields won't help much if you're shorter, there are several mod's that do help cut down on the turbulent wind from under the fairing though- fork-mounted air deflectors, batwing air deflectors, triple tree deflector, lowers.
