Yeah, Meguiar's Scratch-X 2.0! I had a few fine scratches in my tank, one day I got on without fastening the belt on my leather and it made some scratches in the clear coat, the kind that look white. I had a sample bottle of the Harley Scratch Remover and worked my *** off scrubbing them, made them look better but they were still there. I picked up a bottle of Meguiar's on the off chance it might work better, a couple minutes of buffing and you would never know they were ever there ..........

X2 on the Meguiar's, that's good stuff. Just don't over do it. It's abrasive and does have the potential take off clear and paint, granted it's pretty hard to do that if you follow the directions, but then I learn that the hard way

Another plus on this. Bought a bottle over the weekend after STUPIDLY setting my right hand saddle bag on the garage floor with the lid not latched. Fell over and really scuffed the lid. I tried everything I had wax and cleaner wise, and it was still very noticeable. Headed to the local auto parts store and picked up Scratch X 2. Used as directed. Scratches\scuffs are literally GONE. Worked so well, I did my car door handle areas which have been scratched up bad over the years, and WOW, amazing stuff.

Highly recommended.

I guess I must be in the Minority. I love and use Mequires products but I don't like
Scratch X. I find it leaves behind fine micro scratches, particularly in Black paint that needs additional work with another product.

I use a product from the Wax Shop called Safe cut! As far as I'm concerned, it takes a little more work, but doesn't leave any micro scratches behind on black particularly! I've been using this for many years.
