Wow, that may explain why my 06 RKC with 95inch, stage II tune coughs and dies when cold. Thanks for the info and the service bulletin. Can't wait to get home and see if mine are the 8 degree injectors. I just wonder if after all of these years if the MoCo will pay to change them? Anyone have any recent experience with this at a dealer?
I changed mine without removing the tank. I loosened it up and put some blocking under it to hold it up. I remember customizing an Allen wrench to loosen and tighten the screws holding the throddle body to the cylinders. It was a little difficult but it went well. As always doing mechanical work, stay patient and think through the problems.

THANKS!
I'm headed to the garage tonight to check my bike. I read on-line also that if the bike was made after March it likely has the 25's in it from the factory. ?
ALSO - If I have to swap injectors - do I need a dealer ECU re-map? I've got the Dobek TFI onboard with pretty good settings as it is. Can I just bump up the pots on it for the increased fuel flow the 25's will provide?
Course this is IF the bike don't have the 25's already. Bike is always smooth and has no issues. I'd be surprised if it has 8's in it. BUT guess the flashlight inspection will tell the tale...
GMRO,
I have no experience with Dobeck and can't answer your question. I have a Thunder Max on both bikes. I would think Dobeck support could answer that for you.
Just trying to get the just of what "re-map" is vs. what a stand alone piggy pack fuel pack unit does. I'm sure they will be able to answer.
I'd rather not have to do a dealer re-map and just adjust my unit for the new injectors. Thought remaps were done for folks that did not have any type of added unit, fuel pack type, is all.
Dang now ya got me wanting to go home and check mine. Hey GMRO I run the Dolbeck tuner also, call them and talk to Chris he is one great guy, he will give you all the info you need for the tuner.
I just finished a cam upgrade on my bike and the only issue I have is it has started that coughing thing, especially on slow take offs and low speed accelerations out of turns. Sounds like an injector inspection is in order.
