89 Electra Glide Classsic wiring problem.
Probably nothing new but after reading every electrical post for touring models, I can not find an answer. Bike has original wiring so yes its old. Had the bike for two years and only have 50k on it. When trying to start the bike, sometimes it starts and other times I have to jump it from the battery straight to the starter and then hit the starter switch. I have purchased completely new hand control wiring harnesses for it figuring that is my best path to go (have not put them on yet). Removed the ground wire and completely cleaned and inspected it, checked my connections to ensure they are tight and have previously replaced the kill switch. So any thoughts?
