just run the breathers down to the ground via some rubber tubing.....problem solved..AND your intake will no longer get coated with oil!
That would be hard to do without buying some new breather bolts which had nipples on it for houses and held the backing plate in place as well.
I'm sure they bolts to do that exist but I'd prefer not to go that route. If I did anything along those lines I would run them to a catch can setup of some type.

Well the seller is J&P Cycles and they are taking it back and looking into what's going on. Because mine is like the 2nd picture I posted only mine is chrome. The J&P Cycles part number is 402-771 which cross references to Arlen Ness 18-512. Both these numbers were on the Arlen Ness packaging the A/C was in so I'm not sure what the hell is going on.
Since Eastern Performance is within a reasonable distance to me I'm going to call them tomorrow and see if they have an 18-512 and if they are willing to look at it and tell me the position of the ports.
The other thing I was thinking about doing is possible cutting channels in the Screamin' Eagle backing plate that run down to the TB opening and then covering the channels with a piece of aluminum. I've already figured out a way to hold the piece of aluminum in place.
I am convinced that the proper placement of the ports in relation to the TB opening is the answer to this issue.
I know I could simple clean the filter every month or so but I see that as a poor work around that will eventually take a toll on the air filter material and that heavy oil in the air filter material just clogs up air flow.
Mine is the second one, got it from Eastern Performance. Got a K&N filter on it still gets oil in the bottom of the filter, but not bad enough to worry about. I run a rain sock on a open filter and don't have any oil on motor or tank, with out the sock I can see little spots on the motor. If I had the option I'd go with the other one as well. In hind sight wish I'd went with a heavy breather instead.

You it's the damnedest thing, the box on the Sucker I got says the ports exit the backing plate at the TB opening but the actual plate doesn't. Ridiculous, I guess I am going to have to call Arlen Ness to find out what the hell is going on. If they changed the design then I'll move forward with modding mine.
Thought about epoxying some tubes in mine to direct the oil in the intake, but would really hate for one of them to go in the motor. That would pi$$ me off alot more than a little oil in the filter.

Yeah, I hear ya. I am confident I have a way to cut the grooves in the existing SE backing plate and then cover them with a thin piece of aluminum secured by two of the three long bolts that hold the backing plate to the TB. The piece of aluminum probably won't seal tightly against the backing plate but I am sure there will be enough vacuum drawn through the grooves to suck the splooge oil into the TB.
I'll post some pics of it in late June. I have a trip coming up in early June and I have more chrome and other fun stuff to install for that trip to worry about the splooge oil.

I run the same set up with my AN Big Sucker. I still get a small amount of oil running down the backing plate onto the filter but the sock stops its from dripping onto the engine. The tubes coming out of the drip holes going into the TB is a good idea that others have done already (other posts with pictures on here somewhere). Next time I have my AC off, I may attempt doing it.

Its definitely worth it buying some new breather bolts vs. having it ran back through the motor. U would be suprise at how dirty the intake runners get with all of those nasty oil vapors coating them.
