First , new to forum been looking through post and had most questions already answered. Getting 07 Ultra in Feb. Looks like I am going toadd Bassani slip ons, Stage 1. That leads to first ??? input on PCIII compared to V&H Fuelpak. As in user friendlyness, programability. Never used either one, am also going to put one or the other on my 04 heritage.
Second ??? has anyone had to deal with warranty issues having put aftermarket exhaust on their bike.
As far as warranty goes. If the mod does not cause the warranty problem they can't refuse to fix your bike. If you put the pipes on and program it yourself and they prove it was running way to lean and your motor goes South then you have a problem. If your dealer installs is for you they usually won't make a fuss about it. I like the SE Race Tuner better than either of your choices. The SERT and PCIII involve some expertise in programming so it's not exactly "Plug n Play." There is a lot of great info here on the forum. Check the tech and DIY forums here for more info. You might want to go to the New Members Forum and introduce yourself.

I just ordered a package deal from fuelmotto. Suppertrapp SE slipons, K&N air cleaner, pcIII. Itcomes programmed and ready to install. I'm going to do the install myself. If you go with the SERT you should have your dealer do it. ( more money ) I checked with my dealer and was told that either one would not affect the warranty. The mechanicdid say that if you have a problemwhile traveling that you could have a problem with other dealers.
Congrats - am waiting for my Cherry Pearl Ultra as well - January production. Told dealer I would not take it until early March due to weather issues. However, just retired last week and already going stir crazy. I will take this sucker as soon as it arrives! This web site beats drinking. Check out Latus Harley davidson website.

There is a ton of info on tuners, exhausts and performance issues from Mike Stegman. Very knowledgeable and reputable dealership. They also run a couple of bikes in the V-Rod Destroyer series!
