As you can see, I am new to this forum. I just bought a 07 RK Classic after years of riding BMW's. One thing I found is the lack of tools that come with the bike. My question is - Is there a complete after market kit that is popular or do HD riders compile there own kits? If you make your own kit, what do you deem are the most important components. I apologize if this has been covered before.
i got a tool kit...think it had a screwdriver...HD says it has everything you need...i never need em...if i work on mine its in the garage and gets done right an it dont break...welcome to the forum
Welcome Benrae! I just bought a 07 ultra classic and it came with a pretty good set. I might find it necessary to add a few gadgets to it, but right off the bat it looks good.
Most carry whatHD gave them (if any)plus a little extra...
I found one of the battery cables, brakesand the front forks had metric fittings. So I carry Boxed 12 points in 10, 14, and 19mmwith me just for those deals.A couple more too, can't remember.
I got a tool kit with mine when I bought it. Thought it came with all baggers. It has an 8 in 1 screwdriver included. Check it out on pg 843 of the acc. catalog. PN 94435-02A
Beats me. My 06 Roadglide came with a tool set and it completely took be by surprise. Cruz Tools makes some handy saddlebag-sized stuff that you can buy through most aftermarket sources (J & P Cycles, etc)
